Key dates in our history
In 1905 Nicandro Mantova began his family business in Broccostella, a village in the countryside of central Italy, about 100 km from Rome, committed to selling agricultural products which included local olive oils.
At the end of the 50’s, his son Vincenzo and his descendants began the business of selecting and producing extra virgin olive oil.
At the beginning of the 80's, the company boldly undertook the mass production and sale of
the best olive oils on an international basis, laying the groundwork for the entrepreneurial success of
Compagnia Alimentare Italiana, currently among the leading companies in Italy for the production of high quality olive oils, vegetable oils, nutraceutical oils and condiments.
The delicate job of selecting and mixing the best olive oils is now entrusted to Adriano Mantova, who has inherited the know-how and traditions of four generations.
We are now a family business which treasures authentic, century old traditions as well as a dynamic industrial organization, which is both flexible and reliable, and capable of fully meeting its customers’ needs by remaining faithful to the motto "big enough to serve, small enough to care."
Our recent Research & Development activities have lead to the launch of a revolutionary spray oil, awarded with the 2014 Gulfood Award for Innovation.
